Hotell Onyxen is a sustainable boutique and lifestyle hotel. We are best described as a small hotel in a classic style nestled in a beautiful property from the early 20th century. Our rooms are picturesquely furnished where modern is mixed with a touch of boho and vintage. When you step into our place, you are greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere that gives a wonderful feeling of coming home. With just a stone's throw from the big arenas and Avenyn around the corner, you step directly into Gothenburg's vibrant nightlife from our doorstep. We are a child-free hotel and welcome guests from the age of 12.

You can hear her contagious laughter before you see her, and then you're greeted by an wonderful and energetic individual - a true joy-spreader with a strong sense of service. As the general manager she holds the reins of all the hotel's departments, ensuring the creation of fantastic experiences for everyone who walks through our doors.

Our lovely Sara is in charge of our reception and is likely the first person you meet when you arrive. With a guest-centered approach and always with a smile, she ensures you feel warmly welcomed and always goes the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience with us.
Viviann
Our star Viviann is responsible for our fantastic breakfast. She bakes the best seed crispbread and makes the most delightful granola, both of which you’ll find on our buffet – those who’ve tried them know exactly how delicious they are. Our breakfast is something extraordinary, and Viviann ensures that every morning starts off just as well for all our guests.
Anna & Nara
Our wonderful Anna and Nara in housekeeping always greet you with a smile when you encounter them at the hotel. They clean and prepare our rooms with a lot of heart and love. Anna and Nara are experts at creating that extra feeling of coming home when you step into your room.
