GDPR – Hotell Onyxen
We follow the GDPR - Data Protection Ordinance which applies from 2018-05-25. Hotell Onyxen AB takes our customers' privacy seriously and our focus is on all our solutions being as secure as possible to protect your private information. The customer-related information stored at Hotell Onyxen i Göteborg AB is not shared with third parties except in the event of breach of contract and in cases where this is prescribed by law or as a result of legal action. Personal data is handled according to PUL. We keep records of our customers' usual basic information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and information about bookings in our PMS system (Property Management System) HotSoft8 which will be updated shortly to be fully approved in accordance with the rules GDPR entails. We store this information in order to be able to inform our customers about the current status of the services the customer uses and to notify news and to be able to fulfill the agreements we have with our service providers. The information is saved in order to maintain the business relationship.
What information do we store?
By accepting your booking and becoming a customer with us, you agree that we store certain information about you such as. address information, contact information such as mobile phone number and e-mail address. We do this to facilitate communication with you as a guest. We will never share your email address with third parties.
How long do we store the information?
Conversations and personal information sent via e-mail are saved as long as the business relationship is active and then for up to 5 years, this to simplify contact with our customers and potential customers. You have the right to request information about what personal data we have stored about you up to once a year. To do this, contact us. You also have the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data whenever you want. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time and to prohibit the use of your personal information for direct marketing. We are then obliged to discontinue the treatment except in cases where there are legal requirements.
You have the right to submit any complaints about our processing of your personal data to the Swedish Data Inspectorate, which is the national supervisory authority in Sweden.
When you sign up for our newsletter, you accept that we have the right to send these. Your subscription can always end at the bottom of each newsletter and the subscription will end immediately. If you wish to receive newsletters again, this is fine by signing up for mailings again, something you can do yourself.
